Who me?

5 Fun Facts About Kate
1. Kate was recently married.
In fact, she had two wedding blogs to document the entire wedding planning process. The first, Kate's Wedding Blog, was the jumping ground to landing a position in the Hive at Weddingbee, as a contributing writer under the psuedoname Mrs. Pomegranate. She is still currently in the process of re-capping her wedding day, so stay tuned for upcoming posts!
2. Kate is a dog mom (and a cat mom too).
In her off time, you'll find her playing fetch with her silver labrador retriever, Sterling and cuddling with her teacup panther, Sebastian. In her mind, both are the equivalent as children and until she and The Hubs decide to take the big step, they most definitely hold that place in the family. Ster and Sebs have even grown to love eachother as brothers - so much, in fact, that Sebastian loves to sleep in Sterling's dog bed.
3. Kate really loves to shop.
Well, duh. But really though, she tends to always take it a step further. If you need something, she can find it and she can find it cheaper. Often, you'll find her contributing to Kaboodle, as a Guest Blogger, an A-lister, and a Holiday Shopping Expert. You can access her extensive Kaboodle lists via the widget on right.
4. Kate works at a software company.
But she really wants to do something more creative with her time. During her wedding she became [even more] obsessed with paper, sewing, and all things crafty. While she loves the mental exercise her day job provides, she secretly hopes to one day open a wedding designing business that will fill her extra hours with the creative joy she so longs for.
5. Kate runs.
In an attempt to futher her fitness goals to a point beyond her wedding day, Kate signed up for the Nike Women's Marathon almost one year ago. Back then, she was by no means a runner. However, she has since finished in four races including the 2008 Nike Women's Half-Marathon in under 3 hours. It's now been added to the list of her most loved activities. Her next race will be on Thanksgiving Day, the Run to Feed the Hungry - you can donate to the cause here.
